We have always cared about the health of the environment and the territory in which we live.
The sea and the coasts need us: so Cantina Santa Maria La Palma, Regional Natural Park of Porto Conte, Association ARESTE, Association of Diving of Alghero and other partners launch a new initiative: #SeaCleanPortoConte, a day to clean the seabed of Alghero sea and its beaches, along with all the people who want to help. Sea Clean Porto Conte is a special day, dedicated to the care of the territory in which we live.
Here is our idea for Sunday 9 June: meeting at 9.00am in the suggestive cove of Port Agre, in the heart of the Park and a short distance from the Lazzaretto beach. Volunteers will be able to clean the cove from waste until the afternoon; from the afternoon onwards, space for Alghero Diving, who will work to clean the seabed.
All interested parties can participate by contributing to the collection of plastics and waste by land: a concrete action to preserve this little corner of paradise!
Here is the program of the event:
9.00 am: Meeting at Port AgreOre
9.30 am – 1.00 pm: Collection activity coordinated by the Porto Conte Park, the Capo Caccia Marine Protected Area – Isola Piana and the ARESTE
2.00 pm – 5.00 pm: Cleaning of the seabed by the diving centers and local fishermen.
5.30pm: at Casa Gioiosa: greetings from the institutions, along with a moment of reflection on marine litter and the health of the planet. Conclusion of the event and greeting toast.
Sea Clean Porto Conte is an initiative created and promoted by the Porto Conte Park / Marine Protected Area and the Santa Maria La Palma Winery, in collaboration with the ARESTE association, Legambiente Onlus, WWF Italy and the #Aliving association of #Aliving.
